Williamston is located in Ingham County's northeastern corner. This historic town is situated on the Red Cedar River, and contains many well-preserved turn-of-the century buildings. It is known for its antique stores and well-kept neighborhoods. McCormick Park and dam on the Red Cedar can be found north of the main intersection. West of downtown is Deer Creek Park and the Williamston Depot Museum.
