Jonesville is a lovely rural community located in the south central Lower Peninsula of Michigan at highways 12 and 99. Jonesville has a great downtown area that includes several retail stores to shop and family run restaurants that include the Chicago Water Grill, Saucy Dogs Barbeque, Cedars, Rosalie’s Roadhouse, Los Mariachis, and many more. Jonesville also has 2 beautiful Bed and Breakfasts located in historic homes (Munro House and Grayfield) along with America’s Best Value Inn. In the summer during the 3rd weekend in May, there are Riverfest Activities that feature Canoe Races on the St. Joe River plus food and craft vendors and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The Grosvenor House Museum is open for tours on weekends in the summer and the first 2 weekends in December. Some of the other architectural sites include the Village Office, Marcella’s Coffee House, and the Sauk Theatre located in the downtown area. The Sauk Theatre hosts plays produced by the Hillsdale Community Theater and Theater for Youth throughout the year. Silo’s Fun Park has go carts, miniature golf, bumper boats, an arcade, and other fun stuff. Mill Race Golf Course features a challenging 9 holes of golf along the river. There are diverse farming areas and horseback riding nearby.
