Big Bay is a small town in the Northern Upper Peninsula. We're about 28 miles from Marquette and have a lot to offer to tourists, campers, fishermen and hunters. One of Big Bay's historical aspects is the movie "Anatomy of a Murder". After the actual crime and trial, the movie was shot here. Stay at the historic Thunder Bay Inn that was built by the lumber barons of yesteryear. The area abounds with spectacular scenery, miles of forest trails, numerous waterfalls, the Lake Superior shoreline, lazy trout streams, and the Huron Mountains all offering the outdoor enthusiast a myriad of possibilities in all seasons.
