Ahmeek is located in southwestern Keweenaw County in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is a small town that is primarily tourist related because of its location on the picturesque Keweenaw Peninsula and its proximity to Lake Superior. Sands Hills Lighthouse is the largest and last manned ligthhouse built on the Great Lakes. Guided tours are available and also is a Bed and Breakfast.
